SuperPad Full
Review
The SuperPad is a 10.2-inch tablet PC running Android 2.1. The SuperPad comes
with a built in webcam for video chat, Wi-Fi, two USB ports (good for adding accessories such as keyboard,
mouse, USB flash disk), two microSD slots wich support up to 32 GB (16GB per slot, sold separately), HDMI
out (for watching your favorite movies on your HDTV) and a GPS chip.
The
2GB internal memory is not enough for most people, the Android operating system is already using half of
that memory. It is recommended that you get two 16GB mini-SD cards to expand the memory of the SuperPad
and to be able to download many apps and other programs. The SuperPad has a touch screen which works fine
(it is a resistive screen - not a capacitive screen), but it is not a multi touch screen such as iPad's.
The screen is not as good as iPad's screen or Samsung's, but it is OK for the low price of this
tablet.
The SuperPad also comes with a digital pen that can be used for drawing or note taking. In the box you
will find the SuperPad tablet, a soft case, the charger, a GPS antenna and a manual. You can install the
standard Google Android app Market (if it's not already preinstalled - you need to check first) and
download any apps that you need.
The SuperPad tablet is not even close to the iPad performance, so don't buy this tablet if you need the
quality and the performance of the iPad. For the low cost of under $200 bucks, you can get this tablet to
play with, test apps and do basic functions. It is a good tablet for kids though.
